C DISTRICT - Armed Robbery Movilla Road Newtownards

Detectives are are appealing for information after a report of an armed robbery at business premises in the Movilla Road area of Newtownards last night, Saturday, 28th January.
It was reported that shortly before 11.15pm, a man entered the premises carrying an axe. He threatened a member of staff before making off with a sum of money. He is described as being in his 20's, of heavy build and wearing a jacket, jeans and a hat covering his face. The member of staff was not injured during the incident.
