C DISTRICT - Assault, Silverstream Avenue, Bangor

Police in Bangor are appealing for information after a report of an incident in the Silverstream Avenue area on Friday 27th July.Shortly after 8.30pm, it was reported that two males and one female assaulted two other males, a 17 and 20 year old.
One of the victims received serious head injuries and was knocked unconscious at the time of the assault, it is believed he was struck on the head with a hammer. The other victim received a stab wound to his side. None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.
The attackers made off in the direction of the carriageway after the assaults.
Police investigating would appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information to contact them at Bangor Police Station on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, information can be passed to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously by telephoning Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
