C District – stabbing incident & arrest Gransha Road Dundonald

Detectives in Newtownards are investigating a stabbing incident in the Gransha Road area of Dundonald last night (Sun 15 July).
Shortly before 5:45pm it was reported that two men were fighting. A 35 year old man was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his abdomen. He is described as serious but stable.
A 38 year old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody helping police with their enquiries.
