Car parts seized during search in Cullaville area
Police have seized a substantial quantity of suspected counterfeit car parts during a search in the Cullaville area of South Armagh.
Wednesday's joint operation with Trading Standards uncovered the substandard parts, including brake pads, along with a significant sum of cash at premises on the Concession Road. 
Local Inspector Davy Beck said, "If these parts had ended up being fitted to vehicles being driven on local roads the consequences could have been deadly. While many counterfeit parts look very convincing, testing by Trading Standards has revealed serious safety implications.
We are working hard to prevent these parts being circulated in South Armagh and this work will continue over coming weeks.
Anyone who is concerned that they have bought or have had a counterfeit or sub standard part fitted to their vehicle should contact Trading Standards or local police for advice right away."
