D DISTRICT - Hijacking Stewartstown Road, Belfast

Detectives in Lisburn are appealing for information after a report of an aggravated vehicle hijacking incident at the Stewartstown Road area last night (Sunday, 29th July).

Shortly before 11:55pm, it was reported that two masked males approached a car outside business premises in the area. One of the males threatened the driver with a knife. It is believed the vehicle made off towards the Lisburn area. The car was later found close to the Twinbrook area. Enquiries are continuing.
