D DISTRICT: Aggravated burglary Colinbrook Gardens Poleglass

Detectives in Lisburn are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in the Colinbrook Gardens area of Poleglass last night, Friday 30th November.

At approximately 9.40pm the 23 year old male occupant answered a knock to his door and was confronted by 4 unknown males who forced their way into the property. One of the males was believed to be carrying a firearm and one was carrying a large wrench. The occupant was forced to lie on the floor and then struck on the head with the wrench. The males searched the property before making off with 2 games consoles, the man's mobile phone and a sum of cash. It is believed the males left the area in a vehicle. The man was taken to hospital for treatment to a cut to his head.
