D DISTRICT: Police appeal after public disorder, Randalstown

Police investigating public disorder in Randalstown during the early hours of Sunday 12 August are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Shortly before 1.40 am it was reported that two rival crowds had gathered outside licensed premises on Main Street. It's understood a number of fights broke out however at this time police have not received any complaints of assault.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and witnessed the disturbance or from anyone who may have been assaulted as a result.
