Drugs search and charges Forge Crescent Newtownards

Detectives in Ards have charged a 39 year old man with various drugs offences. He will appear at Ards Magistrate Court tomorrow morning (Mon 25 June).
As is normal procedure the charges will be reivewed by the PPS.
The charges follow a planned search of a house in the Old Forge Crescent area last night (Sat 23 June) during which a large cannabis factory was found at the rear of the premises and approximately 140 plants with an estimated street value of around £71k were seized along with other cannabis making equipment.
