E DISTRICT: Update Murder of Caroline Graham Portadown April 1989

12 Nov 2012

Detectives investigating the murder of missing teenager Caroline Graham in Portadown in 1989 are asking a person who sent them a map of the area to contact them.

Serious Crime Branch officers had previously asked members of the public with information to contact them on the special mobile number, telephone 07585 228283.

Police say the information contained in the map requires some clarification.

The officer leading the investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Gary Crawford, said: "We are grateful to this person for providing information but we need to clarify some details. I can assure the person who took the trouble to send us the map that we will deal with them and their information in absolute confidence."

Again the number to call is 07585 228283.

Caroline was living in nearby Hanover Street with her boyfriend when she disappeared in 1989. Police have conducted a series of searches on waste ground and in premises in the Carleton Street area in recent weeks. Search activity is currently suspended.
