Importation of drugs charges, Antrim

A 21-year-old man has been charged with charges including importing a controlled drug (namely cocaine), possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
He is expected to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court on the morning of Wednesday 2 February.
As is normal procedure the charges are subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges relate to the arrest of a man at Antrim Area Hospital on Tuesday 25 January on suspicion of having ingested drugs.
Around 1.5kg of cocaine was seized.
