Professional Standards

The Professional Standards Department aims to engender pride and trust in the integrity of the Police Service of Northern Ireland through the prevention and detection of corruption, dishonesty or unethical behaviour.

Code of Ethics

The Code of Ethics is central to policing.  Officers who conduct themselves in accordance with the Code demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and professionalism as they go about the daily business of delivering a high quality, effective service to the community to whom we are accountable.
