Peninsula

Peninsula Neighbourhood Policing Team is managed by Inspector Stephen Macauley. The team is responsible for policing the Ards Peninsula. It is divided into two teams. Donaghadee has responsibility for Donaghadee, Millisle, Carrowdore and Ballywalter. Portaferry team has responsibility for Greyabbey, Ballyhalbert, Kircubbin, Portavogie, Cloughy, Ardkeen, Kearney and Portaferry.

Safer driving education for young peopleWe held a Safety event in partnership with local Road Safety Committee, DPP, NIFRS and Driving Schools for senior pupils of Glastry College.

Burglaries in caravan sites

A request for youth engagement on the Peninsula  Millisle

Remove Drug dealing from the Peninsula

Recorded and monitored reports, targeted patrols to provide reassurance. Circulated crime prevention advice.

No Mad cage football were invited to engage with local youths at various locations across the Peninsula.  Neighbourhood officers also engaged with the local youths

Police recently conducted a number of searches across the Peninsula and successfully seized large quantities of illegal drugs
