North Down

The Area Commander for North Down is Chief Inspector Michael McDonald. Chief Inspector McDonald has 15 years service and has policed in a variety of roles, including neighbourhood, response and HQ.

He states "It is a privilege to work in North Down with exceptionally committed officers and a very, willing and engaging community. I believe for us to achieve a fully protective, professional and personal policing service it is essential we listen to and work in partnership with the community. This is the very essence of policing and I hope to be able to build on the very solid foundations established between the community and police in the borough"
