You said

We Did

There was too much public alcohol consumption along the Seafront.

The Marina area, including the Piers now has a complete alcohol ban. You are not allowed in this area if you have alcohol in your possession.

We need to deal effectively with Retail Crime and Night Time Disorder

We make excellent use of Town Centre CCTV to help us reduce crime and disorder.  Retailers and Publicans use a radio link to report matters quickly through CCTV and police control.

There was too much anti social behaviour in the Town Centre and other family orientated areas of the town.

Letting Neighbourhoods know about burglaries in the local areas

Partnership working with Safezone and the Streetsafe Bus, has resulted in a dramatic reduction in anti social behaviour in these areas.

We designed leaflets bespoke for North Down communities by way of a Neighbourhood Police message advising of recent burglaries and offering reassurance.
