You said

We Did

There was too much public alcohol consumption along the Seafront. The Marina area, including the Piers now has a complete alcohol ban. You are not allowed in this area if you have alcohol in your possession.

There was too much anti social behaviour in the Town Centre and other family orientated areas of the town.Partnership working with Safezone and the Streetsafe Bus, has resulted in a dramatic reduction in anti social behaviour in these areas.

The noise from illegal fireworks was causing much distress and that someone was going to get hurt.

A joint NPT/Response operation on premises in the Bangor Outer area which resulted in seizure of a very significant quantity of illegal fireworks.

Boy racers were causing a danger to road users and disturbing the peaceful existence of residents.

Letting Neighbourhoods know about burglaries in the local area

Joint operation between PSNI and DVA who provided staff and a mobile vehicle testing unit to assist local PSNI officers in detecting vehicle defects. As a result 15 vehicles were examined. 12 of these were found to have defects, many had numerous defects.4 of these vehicles were deemed totally unroadworthy and had their MOT certificates revoked there and then.

We designed leaflets bespoke for North Down communities by way of a Neighbourhood Police Message advising of local burglaries. view leaflet above.
