Tackling serious harm

Performance Indicator   Targets  
1.0 The level of violence with injury.   1.1 to reduce the number of non-domestic violence injury crimes by 5%.  
2.0 The number of people killed or seriously injured on the road.   2.1 In partnership with other agencies to contribute to reducing the number of people killed or seriously injured on the road.  

Personal Policing - Dealing with local concerns

3.0 The number of incidents of antisocial behaviour.  

3.1 To reduce the number of incidents of antisocial behaviour to ensure a 15% reduction by 31 March 2011.  To report on the number of:

  • seizure of alcohol from young people
  • referrals to Youth Diversion Officers
  • number of referrals to Council for Breach of Bye-Laws
4.0 The number of burglaries. 4.1 To reduce the number of domestic burglaries by 5%.
5.0 The number of incidents of criminal damage. 5.1 To reduce the number of criminal damage crimes by 5%.
6. 0 The availability of illegal drugs. 6.1 To increase the number of illegal drug seizures by 5% in order to contribute to the frustration / disruption / dismantling of drug gangs within North Down.
