Pre-employment medical appeals process
If you are declared unfit for role or pension you will have 2 weeks to appeal this decision. You will have received a letter outlining the reason for failure and outlining the relevant standards. Any appeal must be supported by additional medical evidence. Any appeal that does not provide additional medical information will be disregarded however on occasions it may not be possible to obtain the evidence immediately so consideration will be given to appeals supported by evidence within a reasonable timescale. Notice of intention to appeal must however be received within 2 weeks of notification of failure.
It should be noted that there is no further appeal process available to applicants.
