Details of Neighbourhood Watch / Residents groups / DPP/Community Safety Partnership

There are Neighbourhood Schemes in the Randalstown/Toomebridge area, working in close partnership with Neighbourhood officers in the prevention and detection of crime. If you are interested in more information please contact your local NPT officer.

Community Partnership Project

The successful completion of an application for monies from a Police Service of Northern Ireland local initiatives budget by Constable Duffy has resulted in the sum of £2,500 being granted to Toome Initiative Group (TIG).  The money is to help set up and purchase items for a youth club for the younger community of Toome.  The youth club has been established by the District Policing Partnership Co-ordinator, Mrs Una Johnston with whom Randalstown NPT have been working in partnership.

This alone has had a tremendous effect on the younger generation of Toome and the outlying areas who otherwise would be hanging about the streets getting into mischief.
