Hate crime
Hate Crime
Hate crime is:
"Any incident which may or may not constitute a criminal offence, which is perceived by the victim or any other person as being motivated by prejudice or hate."
In D District all our Neighbourhood Policing Sergeants also perform the role of the Hate Incident Minority Liaison Officer (HIMLO) in respect of the policing areas they are responsible for.
