Get involved

You can get involved with helping us to make your neighbourhood safer. Come along to a neighbourhood policing meeting and tell us the issues that you think need to be addressed.

If you wish to get involved in any of these groups or would like help and assistance in setting up a group in your area, contact your local Neighbourhood Constable who will be glad to advise and assist.

Deterring buses and taxis from making drop off / pick-ups outside local residential property and increase in detection for indecency and public order offences has reduced the number of complaints from local residents.

ASB Fairhill

Additional patrols by local police and Roads Policing Unit have resulted in three drivers being warned for using vehicles in an alarming manner. Seven young drivers have been referred to and are participating in a project jointly run by Cookstown and Magherafelt CSP to improve driving awareness and road safety.

Liaison with local councillors and Good Relations officer to find acceptable protocols for the flying of flags in the town.
