Criminal Cash Funds Anti-Social Behaviour Project

‘F’ District Community Safety Branch initiated a successful new Anti Social Behaviour project called “Choices” which was paid for by confiscated criminal cash.
The scheme provided a fun environment for eleven young people from Moneymore to increase their understanding of the consequences of the choices they make and also to appreciate the impact of anti-social behaviour and crime on its victims.
Through interacting with police officers and staff they also got to see what is involved in being a ‘police officer’. An insight into Roads Policing, the role of Crime Scene Investigators and the importance of teamwork and personal responsibility in completing a task was also provided.
