Enniskillen

Enniskillen neighbourhood team is responsible for policing Enniskillen town, and all residential areas in close proximity, namely the town of Lisbellaw and the nearby village of Tamlaght. Enniskillen is the largest county town in County Fermanagh, with a population of over 13,000.

We Did

Concerns around illegal bonfire sites and gathering of illegal bonfire materials.

                       

Pro-active patrolling of the areas concerned and collection of tyres and suspected stolen pallets. All illegal materials disposed off at local council depot.


  

Off sales were selling alcohol to underage persons.

Spoke to local retailers concerned and advised them about their actions and the introduction of alcohol test purchasing


  

Problems with cars rallying and car related noise pollution in local car parks.

High profile patrolling of the areas concerned and completed a number of prosecution files.

Local youths in an area involved in anti-social behaviour.

High profile patrolling and multi - agency approach which resolved the issue.

Local residents raised concerns regarding the flying of flags in a number of areas.

Consultation with local community representatives which culminated in the flags being removed.
