We Did

Anti social behaviour, Hillbank Fold James St. - Persons entering the property and running around the corriders late at night.

A meeting held with elderly residents, Fold Housing Officer and myself highlighted the problem of the main door not being closed and unaccompanied persons being allowed access. Posters were put up, the site manager was to monitor and the location was patrolled at the relevant times.

No related problems since.

Anti social behaviour, Brookmount Heights - a resident's house has been targeted by youths throwing eggs since Halloween

Enquiries made with local shops provided names of persons buying eggs at relevant times, follow up enquiries revealed four youths involved ans all spoken to by Police in company with their parents. By arrangement all persons involved have attended the resident's house and apologised and have been dealt with by discretionary disposal as per victim's request.

On street drinking, O'Kane Park - local people drinking alcohol on footpaths and walkways around the estate, causing nuisance.

Close liaison with residents mostly effected and community reps as to the times and persons involved. Council licensing officer contacted and extra sign age erected throughout the area. During targeted patrolling by Beat Officer a number of persons suspected to be involved were warned and one person reported to the Council for breach of legislation. Additional patrols requested through Sector Inspector and provided by Part time Officers to monitor and provide reassurance. No related complaints since.

Report of Cars being driven in a reckless manner in Drumquin.

To monitor areas and identifying offenders to eradicate this issue.
