Help to reduce the level of anti-social behaviour and the instances of young people causing annoyance to others.

                                            

Recognition that the majority of young people act responsibly and make a positive contribution to the community. Liaison with community representatives to identify 'hot spot' areas. Increase in high visibility patrols as required. The issue of information regarding parental responsibilities. Use of ASBO legislation to moderate offenders' behaviour.

Reduce the level of illegal drugs misuse.Officers are taking a proactive approach to drugs misuse. Building relationships with the community to increase reporting of information regarding the sale, supply, and misuse of illegal drugs. Instigation of searches and seizures. Prosecution of offenders. Liaison with education and rehabilitation networks.

Reduce the level of criminal damage to property.            Neighbourhood officers continue to work with the community to find a lasting solution to this issue. Use of high visibility patrols to challenge people's behaviour, and to deter and detect offenders. Use of ASBO legislation to moderate offenders' behaviour. Prosecution of offenders.


Reduce the level of quad and motorcycle scrambler misuse.

Liaison with community representatives to identify hot spot areas. Identification of offenders. Education regarding proper use of quads, motorcycle scramblers, Go-Peds and Mini Motos by way of advice and warnings. Prosecution of offenders.
