We Did

Damage to property, Carnany

We conducted high visibility beat and vehicle patrols and spoke to a number of young people in the estate.  Neighbourhood Officers also delivered lessons in several local schools which included the importance of respect for other people's property.

Nuisance and noisy vehicles, Queen Street.

Several dedicated operations have been directed towards this problem and three drivers have been issued with Warning Notices for "Driving in a manner likely to cause nuisance, harm or distress".  In effect this means that any repeat will result in their vehicle being seized by police, in addition to any prosecution they may face for the manner of driving.  A number of other motorists have also received letters of advice and warning in respect of the manner of their driving.  This issue remains a local priority and will continue to receive attention.
