We Did

Lorries speeding in StranocumA number of speeding operations were carried out, advice and warnings and Fixed Penalty Notices were issued to a number of drivers.  We are aware that speeding through the village remains a concern for the local community and we will continue to give this our attention.

There is Anti-Social Behaviour in Dervock

Neighbourhood and Response Officers conducted a number of beat and mobile patrols in the village on evenings and weekends, proactively engaging with young people.  Officers are working in partnership with youth workers on two separate programmes for local teenagers which includes addressing behavioural problems and increasing a sence of responsibility for their local community.  One young person from Dervock is currently the subject of an Anti-Social Behaviour Contract.

On 3rd March officers conducted a planned search of a house in Dervock and recovered herbal Cannabis worth over £600.  A male has been charged to appear at Court in connection with these drugs.
