Welcome message from Chief Superintendent Nigel Goddard

As Chief Superintendent and Commander in charge of H District, I am charged with leading and shaping the future of frontline policing in Coleraine, Ballymoney, Moyle, Ballymena and Larne Area Command Units.

With my officers I am committed to delivering effective and efficient neighbourhood, investigative and response policing to all 192,000 inhabitants of the District.

Through an improved call management process, and the continuation of collaborative partnership working with the courts and other criminal justice agencies, local councils and statutory bodies, we intend to build upon the current service.

Working under the District Commander and his team are the Area Commanders, each a Chief Inspector, striving to deliver local policing at a local level. They deliver local policing solutions on a daily basis, and engage directly with District Policing Partnerships, local representatives and communities.

H District remains one of the safest places to live, work and visit. We intend to keep it that way, and will work with our communities, local representatives and District Policing Partnerships to deliver the style of policing needed locally. My team and I are fully committed to delivering an effective and efficient policing service for your area.

Effective policing can never be delivered without the help of the community, and your continued support is very important to us.
