Assault, Church Lane, Belfast

Detectives in South Belfast are appealing for information following an assault in the Church Lane area of the City Centre earlier this evening, Saturday 3 January.
Around 5:00pm a woman in her 50s received a substantial wound to her face when an unknown man attacked her at the Coles Alley public toilets, just off Church Lane. It is believed that a knife was used in the assault and a male was seen running from the area around this time towards Ann Street. He was believed to be wearing a black jacket and jeans, of medium build and in his 20s or 30s.
