Assault and theft, Londonderry

Police in Derry are appealing for information about an incident at Strand Road on Saturday 3 December.

At around 2am, a man aged in his 70s was walking in the area when he was struck to the head.

A saxophone, clarinet and flute the man had been carrying - together worth several thousand pounds - were then stolen.
