Armed Robbery, Ballysillan Road, North Belfast

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at an off license in North Belfast on Sunday, 4 January.
Shortly before half past seven on Sunday evening, two males entered the premises at Ballysillan Road.
One of the males ordered and paid for a packet of cigarettes. The second male then produced a knife and ordered two male shop assistants to hand over a sum of cash from the till, a quantity of cigarettes and several bottles of alcohol. This male continued to threaten staff, demanding more money. A further sum of cash was handed over.
Both males then left the store and made off on foot in the direction of Wallasey Park.
Both shop assistants were left shaken but otherwise uninjured.
The first male is described as approximately 25 years old, 5' 11" tall, clean shaven with a slim build. He was wearing a navy baseball cap, a dark coloured hoody, a dark suede jacket, dark coloured tracksuit bottoms with a stripe down the leg.
The male armed with the knife is described as in his late 20s, 5' 7" tall of a medium build with stubble. He was wearing a sky blue tracksuit top, a black beanie style hat, faded light blue jeans.
Police would appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident or who noticed males matching these descriptions to contact them. They are particularly keen to hear from a number of individuals who were in and around the premises at the time of the robbery.
