Assault, Ardoyne Ave, North Belfast

Police are investigating an incident which occurred in the Ardoyne Avenue area during the early hours of Saturday morning, 10 January.
Shortly before 2am police received a report of a male being assaulted. The 34 year old was taken to hospital for treatment. He sustained a cut to his head as well as scratches and bruising.
It is believed the assault may have occurred outside licensed premises.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the Ardoyne Avenue area during the early hours of Saturday morning and believes they may ave information relating to this assault to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
