Armed Robbery, Crimea Close, North Belfast

Detectives in North Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery of a delivery van this afternoon (Thursday 15 January).

Around 1:30pm the driver of the vehicle had just completed a delivery of oil in the Crimea Close area when two unknown males, one armed with a baton, approached him. They threatened the driver and made of with a substantial sum of money.

The robbers are described as being tall, of slim build and in their 30s. One was wearing a light coloured tracksuit, white trainers and a dark baseball cap. The other was wearing a dark jumper and blue jeans.
