Arson, West Belfast

Police are investigating an incident a house in the Springfield Road area of West Belfast on the evening of Saturday 17 January.
A man and a woman were upstairs in the house when, at around 9.50pm, petrol was used to start a fire at the front of the house. They were taken to hospital but are not believed to have sustained any serious injuries.
Two males were seen running away from the house. They are believed to have used a silver saloon car to make their escape along the Springfield Road.
One of the males is described as around 25 years old, 5ft 8ins tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a grey baseball cap, grey and silver hooded top, blue tracksuit bottoms and blue trainers. The second male is around 5ft 8ins tall, slim, and was wearing a baseball cap, light-coloured top and tracksuit bottoms.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the males or a silver saloon car on the Springfield Road at the time, or who has any information about the attack, to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively information may be given anonymously via the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
