Blackmail Charges, Cookstown, Co Tyrone

A 29 year old man was charged with blackmail on Saturday 17 January.
He is expected to appear at Dungannon Magistrates Court on Monday 19 January.
As is normal procedure, the charges are subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service.
The man was arrested by detectives in Cookstown on Saturday 17 January as part of an investigation into the blackmail of a man in the Cookstown area.
A follow-up search was carried out at a house in the area and a number of items seized.
