Armed Robbery, Drumart Square, Belfast

Detectives in Castlereagh are appealing for information after a convenience store in the Drumart Square area of Belvoir was robbed by a man wielding a machete on Sunday night, 18 January.
There were a number of people in the store when the man went in at just before 7.30pm. He threatened the female owner with the machete and made off on foot with a sum of cash. It's believed he ran across the square and into the Downhill Avenue area of Belvoir.
The robber is described as about 5ft 10ins tall, in his 20s, of stocky build, balding with fuzzy ginger hair and wearing a black 'Rockport' jacket with a hood, navy tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the side and white trainers.
Police are linking the robbery to a similar crime at the same store on Sunday night, 11 January, also involving a man carrying a machete.
They are appealing for anyone who saw a man with a machete or matching this description in the Belvoir area on Sunday night or who has any information about the robbery to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively information may be given anonymously via the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
