Armed robbery, Dungannon

Detectives in Dungannon are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a post office in the Legilly Road area of Greystone, Dungannon, on the evening of Tuesday January 20.

Shortly after 8pm, two males, one armed with a handgun, entered the premises, pushed a staff member up against a wall and demanded money. The robbers then made off on foot in the direction of Aughnacloy with a small sum of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

Both robbers were understood to have been wearing balaclavas and gloves. One was around 5'10" in height, of thin build and may have had brown eyes. His accomplice was thought to be around 5'6" tall, and of stocky build.
