Canabis seized, Clermont Gardens, Newry

Police in Newry have seized a number of suspected cannabis plants following a fire at Clermont Gardens.
At 9.55pm on Thursday night, 22 January, a house fire was reported. The fire was not extensive and is not believed to have been started maliciously.
A small number of suspected cannabis plants, and items used in the cultivation of cannabis, were seized.
A man aged in his 40s was arrested and later released pending further enquiries.
