Hijacking, Antrim Road, Belfast

Two men aged 26 and 28 have been arrested following a hijacking incident in the early hours of this morning (Saturday 24 January) at a filling station on the Antrim Road.
Around 2:30am a driver was pulled from his Blue Vauzhall Vectra by an unknown male who jumped into the vehicle and made off. The hijacker had got out of a light grey Renault Scenic that also sped off.
The hijacked vehicle was later recovered in the Seabourne Parade area of Skegoneill.
Anyone who was at the service station and witnessed the incident is asked to contact Detectives at Antrim Road CID on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
