Bogus Caller Burglary, Nelson Drive, Derry

Detectives in Strand road Derry are investigating a bogus caller to a house in the Nelson Drive area last night (Saturday 21 March).
Sometime between 5pm and 6pm two men called at the home of a 94-year-old lady asking if she needed any work done. She said she did not but the men entered her home on the pretext of writing down the name and number of their company. A short time later the lady discovered money from her purse had been taken. The lady was unhurt but shaken by the incident.
