Police are appealing for witnesses following the fatal road traffic collision on the Gortahar road Rasharkin shortly after 7:15pm yesterday evening (Wed 11 March). A male pedestrian, died following the collision which also involved a Peugeot car. The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening at this stage.
The man who died has been named as 46 year old Hugh Glass from the Rasharkin area.
