Man charged with Murder

A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder and is expected to appear at Downpatrick Magistrate’s Court on Thursday 16 April.
It is understood the charge is connected to the murder of 2v1-year-old Katie Hughes at Park Avenue, Bangor on Monday 13 April. As is normal procedure the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
