Armed Robbery, Cash-In-Transit, Mullinahoe Road, Ardboe

Detectives in Dungannon are appealing for information following an armed robbery of a cash-in-transit van outside a Costcutters convenience store at Mullinahoe Road area of Ardboe on Monday evening, 30 March.
Shortly after 6.30pm, three masked and armed men threatened the crew of the van, tied them and placed them in the back of their vehicle.
The robbers were wearing balaclavas and made off with a substantial six-figure sum of money. None of the crew members was injured, though they were left shocked following the incident.
The robbers are believed to have used two vehicles. One was a blue Ford Transit van, registration number WDZ 1949, with a flooring company's name in yellow letters on the side. It was later found burnt out in the Old Airfield near Ardboe. The second vehicle, a red Rover car registration number TAZ 2296, was found burnt out in the Ballyronan Marina area.
