Aviary damaged and birds killed, Ballymena

Police in Ballymena are appealing for information following the criminal damage of an aviary and the wanton destruction of a flock of homing pigeons.

Some time between Tuesday 14 April and Thursday 16 April the aviary was broken into and up to 68 birds from the flock of 87 were killed.  Thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who noticed any activity in the area is asked to contact police at Ballymena on 0845 600 8000.  Information can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
