Fatal road traffic collision, Rathfriland

An 11 year old old girl has died in hospital as a result of a road traffic collision.
Rachael McConville, a pedestrian from the Rathfriland area, was injured in a road traffic collision involving a Volkswagen people carrier at Castlewellan Road, Rathfriland, County Down, shortly before 4.30pm on Tuesday 14th April.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them at Banbridge on 0845 600 8000.
