Murder investigation, Cookstown

A 31 year old man has died in hospital following an incident in the James Street area of Cookstown, County Tyrone, on Sunday 19th April.
The man has been formally identified as Connor McCusker from the Coagh area of Co Tyrone.
Police have now launched a murder enquiry.
As of the morning of Tuesday 21st April, a 21 year old male remains in custody and is continuing to assist detectives with their enquiries. He was arrested on Sunday 19th April.
Police have reissued their appeal for information about the incident. Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident should contact police by calling 0845 600 8000, alternatively information can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555111.
