Paramilitary Style Shooting, Creggan Heights, Derry

A 26-year-old man has been taken to hospital following a paramilitary style shooting in the Creggan heights area of Londonderry last night (Wednesday 1 April).

Shortly before 11:30pm four masked men entered the house where the young man and three female companions were sitting.  A number of shots were fired at the man and he received injuries to his left thigh, knee and ankle and another injury to his right calf.  The females were uninjured.  As the assailants left they fired further shots in the air outside the house.
