Two charged in connection with vehicle crime, Newry

Detectives in Newry have charged two men in connection with a number of incidents which occurred in the Newry area during the early hours of Wednesday, 22 April, including the theft of a vehicle at Toll House Park.
A 27 year old man has been charged with attempted murder, burglary, breach of bail, aggravated vehicle taking, vehicle theft and criminal damage.
A 25 year old man has been charged with burglary, breach of bail, vehicle theft and criminal damage.
Both men are expected to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court on Thursday morning, 23 April.
The charges are subject to review by the PPS.
