Armed Robbery, Strabane

Detectives in Strabane are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a newsagents shop in the Meetinghouse Street area of the town on the morning of Saturday 15 August.
At around 8.30am, a male wearing a black hat and balaclava and armed with a small knife, entered the shop and demanded money from staff. The robber, thought to be around 6 feet tall and of medium build, made off on foot with an amount of cash.
No one was injured during the incident.
The robber was wearing a grey hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms, and detectives are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time and may have noticed a male of similar description, to come forward.
