Hijacking, Lady Dixon Park, South Belfast

Police are appealing for information after a car was hijacked from a woman at Lady Dixon Park on Wednesday evening 5 July.
The incident happened shortly before 8.30pm when two men, armed with a screwdriver and a hammer forced the driver to handover her green Ford Focus before making off in the car.
The vehicle was recovered a short time later on the Brianswell Road, Dunmurry. Two men were seen running from the vehicle towards the Ardcaoin area.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the hijacking or the vehicle being abandoned, or anyone who has any information to contact them on 0845 600 8000. Anonymous information can also be passed to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
