Assault, Magherafelt

Detectives are appealing for information about an assault in Magherafelt.
At 1.25am on Sunday 2 August, it was reported that a man aged in his 20s had been assaulted by a male of similar age at Queen Street.
The man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries following the incident, which occurred in the street. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
It is understood that a number of witnesses, including motorists, were in the area at the time.
